Emma had a friend whose aunt --how crazy is this--took them to Build A Bear and bought her an entire bear, or bunny, actually. Those things are a million dollars. Why would some aunt do that?! Anyway, later that day, Jane and I went on a date and she wanted to go there. Well, we were just going to Krispy Kreme. She was a little disappointed. She voiced these sentiments: "How come Emma gets to do lucky sings (things) and Gabe gets to do lucky sings and I get to do JUNK things?"

Jane is too observant for your own good.
Personally, you can take me to Krispy Kreme any time you want.
My son has an aunt like that :) My sister has no children of her own and therefore sees it as her right and duty to spoil mine whenever possible. She has taken him to Disney Land, baked elaborate birthday cakes every year, spent weeks at the lake with him and has been his 'room mother' at school when I have to work. If he ever wanted to bring a friend along on one of his adventures with her it has always been ok. When he was younger he would introduce us as "My mom and my just-for-fun mom" LOL.
I think I need a just-for-fun mom
love the picture of you. Very pretty!! Well I guess you just can't take her to junkie Krispy Kreme anymore
Ryan-
What would you do with your just-for-fun mom? And, do you mean Jessica or your mom? Let's all hope you mean Jessica.
So cute that she said "junk things". And I love the picture of you!
Great picture, did you know there's a little bald head in it? Krispy Kreme sounds plenty fun to me. Except on the treadmill the next day. We call Build a Bear "the grandpa place." He's the only sucker willing to take them. Tell Jane maybe Grandpa will take her there. Then she can bug him.
I would take the kids to get a build a bear...I am the child-less auntie who likes to spoil kids. I bring a gift to my nephew each and every time I see him. For his upcoming b-day, I already have like 4 or 5 outfits, a cool old fashioned wooden pull toy, and on order are some cool tennis shoes. So, those without kids are happy to spoil and spend money!!!
