arrgh!

I had a fun post planned about exercising, and then as the night developed, I thought I'd write a cute post detailing the night's events as I tried to get my kids to illustrate the yearly Christmas card. (I have a Christmas card making party on Friday, which I love because there is lots of food and people I like but don't see very much and I get to actually enjoy doing a project (!), but I haven't even thought about my Christmas card because it's HELLO! November.) But now I've been working on this #@**! thing for about 2 hours and I no longer want to do anything cute or fun and THIS IS WHY I HATE MAKING ANYTHING EVER!!! (So I hope you all enjoy your darling little card with handmade drawings my sweetie little kids did and don't even worry about me over here binging on Halloween candy and stabbing the computer keys angrily!)

Hey Fancy Girl! As much as we over here enjoy your very creative cards every year, I just wanted to inform you that there is this store called Costco. They also make Christmas cards, have interesting people, and good food. That's where I will be this year.

Sorry about your tragedy, but since your picture is already DONE I think you get extra points. Upload that sucker and send it out. You can take one super creative, adorable year off so the rest of us can have a little break from the Costco guilt.

Will you post the exercising one tomorrow?

If you're going to make applesauce and homemade Christmas cards,at least can your post about exercise be about how you *don't*? Just hoping we can still be internet friends with something in common :)

you better take it easy if you still want Annette to be your number one super fan. However the curses that you starred out happens to be her favorite one so I think that you are still in the clear.

I've been working on them for two days now and my printer died last night. UGH!!!! They are sending me a new one. Hopefully before I need to print out 60 Christmas stories for Enrichment next Thursday.

Yes, I'm the Enrichment leader. Do you think making hand made Christmas cards is enough? Nope, I'm makinh 60 handmade BOOKS for Enrichment.

I feel your pain.

Now, back to blogging.

I do not know about the Costco card service everyone is talking about (but I am going to find out). I am having Christmas Card breakdown as well, but I suspect over something far less cute and wonderful. You are still super Mom in my book!

It's okay, you are still awesome.

That is why I don't do handmade very often. It always goes wrong and ends up being so hard! Not to be a downer or anything.(o:

This is the VERY reason I do Valentine's Day cards. Plus, I like to think everyone enjoys getting a surprise "holiday" card in the mail in February.

I don't make homemade cards for this reason. I handwrite a little note inside a store one and consider myself a "good enough" Christmas mom. It has been a dark day here too...I will be posting tonight. Good luck!

Does this mean I get a christmas card?

I once handmade mine and they were beautiful. I also started making them in October and barely finished them in time. I vowed never, ever to do that again. I encourage you to do the same.

I love homemade cards and I am sure they will be adorable when you finish them - kids stuff always is and you have plenty of time. It is HELLO! November.

You can always just do what I do . . . . NADA or you can get around to it in June. Then it really confuses the Christmas card recipients. They wonder if you're really on the ball and the card has been sent out 6 months early or they wonder if it's 6 months late.

I think about doing Christmas cards and then don't. You see a pattern developing here in my comments?

I think this year I will post a Christmas greeting on my blog. I hate buying stamps.

You were going to write a fun blog about exercising? Fun isn't exactly the word I use to describe exercising unless it is a fun blog where I complain about exercising.

If I lived in America I would probably stress out overy year about making handmade cards, start, not finish, and have lots of guilt. But because it's not reasonable to mail Christmas cards from the southern hemisphere, I get to order picture cards online that are reasonably acceptable and have my mom mail them. You should try it.

p.s. whatever you do, please make Ryan continue to write it every year, as it is my favorite card to read!
