Hey, I'm feeling guilty! I thought I had written you back forever ago with info on a camera. But looking at your blog I noticed I never published my comment. (must have been distracted...?!) Anyway, hope I'm not too late. I have a piece of crap camera. It's a Canon 10d. It was a good camera in it's day, but it is old now and in need of a replacement. If you are looking to splurge from a point and shot, I would recommend either the canon rebel or the similar nikon model. Nikon makes great products, the only problem with them is the products are sometimes out of stock for long periods. And you have to use Nikon everything. With Canon, you can use a tamron lens, etc. but, it's really just a matter of personal preference. I would go to a camera dealer and test out both. Canon is very user friendly.
Hope this helped. If you have any more questions feel free to email me at julestchristensen@yahoo.com.
Your family is adorable. I LOVED the letters to Santa and his response. And the pictures of your littlest dressing to go outside in heels made me laugh for days.
Seth lost his shoes and had to wear Faith's too-small pair to a soccer game. He was pretty miserable. After the game, Ryan asked what he'd learned from it. Seth replied: "To have a happy attitude when things are hard?"

I'm impressed that you actually write down your kids' quotes.
I'm much too busy blogging to do that.
