Why Gabe had the Coolest Baptism Ever:

that,

plus the fact that we had 40 family members, 15ish friends, a last minute healing of the sick baptism boy, a sweet solo-singing sister (Elder Maxwell would love that illiteration), neat talks, and the Spirit that we'd prayed and fasted for all week.

Our Heavenly Father loves us and smiles down on us as we keep His commandments and follow His Son in making and keeping the sacred covenants of baptism and confirmation.

We are proud of Gabe.

That was really neat! Did he freeze? I remember thinking it wasn't that warm that day. I wish we could of been there... I had to take Trevor to High School to get his locker and classes, etc. Sorry we missed it, it sounds like it was very special!

That is awesome. I think you need to tell the story behind it. Why not in a church?

It is so important to make baptisms a special, memorable event while still keeping it a reverent covenant. I love how you were able to highlight this important day without turning it into a secular event/party.

Congratulations Gabe. THis will be a day you always remember.

Um, I'm going to need some backstory. How come he got baptized in that open body of water? Those pictures are so cool.

How are you feeling? I'm dying to know. Post a picture of the belly, please.

I can't believe that he is 8 years old. I remember teaching Emma when she was 5. Your kids are beautiful. What a neat and special day.

So sad I couldn't be there. Sounds like it was a great experience for all involved.

How wonderful for Gabe - what a lovely experience all around. Growing up in Hawaii meant that we got baptized in the ocean and not the font - in fact, most chapels in Hawaii are built without them - I will always treasure that memory.

Wow! That is a neat and cold baptism! So cool! Glad it was such a good experience for him and the family!
