Like Rabbits...

Look what the Easter Bunny dropped off yesterday:

(He's a little presumptuous, don't you think?)
**This should explain the lack of posts. One doesn't feel exceptionally entertaining during this lovely nauseated period. Sorry.)

Congratulations! Um, I believe your blog (on March 4th to be exact) stated you were CONTEMPLATING having another child! I wish contemplating ANYTHING worked that well for me! Obviously, you got past contemplation pretty quick. :) But more importantly, what happened in Portland??

Lindsey said...

Oh, and Happy Valentines Day baby!

Jill said...

Wasting no time huh!!?? That makes me laugh because I can't imagine it happening that fast (you just mentioned you were thinking about it). WOW. Good for you. Congrats. Hopefully you'll be feeling better by blog-a-palooza because we are going to party!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :)

I am so sorry about the nausea. It is the pits...

So, is that how you told Ryan and the kids about your wonderful news? Via the Easter Bunny, I mean?

So, I now sheepishly say, I hope you don't have one of those tracking things like Stat Counter because I have been checking your blog even MORE often than the 3 or 4 times a day that I normally do, to see how you liked Portland. I am so sorry you had to fly feeling morning sickness.

I am going to go check my kids Easter Baskets...perhaps that bunny left me an egg...a pink egg is what I would love ;)

Lauren in GA said...

Oh, by the way...I loved your very clever title.

How exciting! Hopefully the nausea will be over soon...

Congratulations! Is this announcement at all related to the things that were not "family-blog-appropriate" as discussed in the Valentines post? :)

Love, Spence and Brooke

Wasn't there some old fashioned pregnancy test involving a rabbit and pee? You two do breed like rabbits, so good timing! So happy for you.

Danna said...

Wow, that is really exciting! Congrats! You will be great with 5 kids. I'm sad to hear that you might be moving to Portland. :(

Stacy said...

I guess we're like rabbits too, then...5 kids in under 9 years - you stretched yours out a little longer, but not much!! Congratulations! I guess we won't plan a reunion "Magic Mountain" trip anytime soon (according to your mother, we will be seeing you next week, though, so yay!)

crystal said...

Your Easter Bunny gives YOU better visits than he does me. Naughty Bunny.

Lorena said...

I won't be joining you and Stacy in the 5 under 9 club...sorry.

And, shucks, I was totally looking forward to joining in on the Magic Mountain Reuion this time around!

you're going to have a silver egg? that should make for an easy labor and delivery.

i'll bet you could sell it on ebay for a ton!

congrats!!

Bridget said...

Congrats! That is so exciting. Sorry if you were feeling sick at my house and feeling like you needed to eat to be polite. I was the most nauseated at dinner time with my pregnancies.

So excited for you. You do have a LOT of changes coming up. 2008 will be a memorable year.

DaNae said...

Congrats! It will be so fun to have a new baby around. What a cute way to announce it too.

Congratulations to you! You sure know how to celebrate a holiday. I thought you went all-out for St. Paddy's day, but this is a whole new level of commitment.

How exciting. And very cute announcement. I hope you feel better very soon.

Congratulations Jessica! We just ventured into that territory (5 kids) 3 months ago and would never turn back! Nice to see you've been happily blogging since I last talked to you 2 years ago. Please give me a holler.

That is so great! I hear you though! I was so nauseas my first four months. This is so fun though!!!

Ilene said...

Ah, posting your pregnant always gets the most comments and attention. I can see why rabbits are so busy.

Congratulations!

Finally, someone else is pregnant after me so I don't have to be the last one to pop. Again, my selfish side rears its ugly head.

Grandma Cathryn said...

Whaaaaaaaaaat? Congratulations, you two bunnies. November's a great month for babies!

Mique (as in Mickey) said...

Wow- congrats...guess I better change the focus of my good mail package to you.
And you two must have had a great Valentine's Day (note: the only reason I write this is because my bday and my sis' bday are the first week in Nov- 1st & 3rd. My mom said she totally avoided my dad on V-day for years after!!!!).

Carie said...

Seriously, if you get 59 comments, do you really read them all?

But congratulations from the Skinners!

kara jayne said...

I almost cleared out my google reader because it was too overwhelming after our 10 day vacation...glad I scrolled down quickly instead! Sorry I'm so slow on the draw.

I completely admire you. I don't know why the jump from 4 to 5 freaks me out so much, but for some reason it seems like a huge leap! Congrats!

Celia Fae said...

Just reading about your nausea makes me want to go take a Zofran. I hope you are managing okay. I would join you in the five if the barfing weren't so pervasive.

Just think how many kids you and Ryan would have had 100 years ago, Ms. Myrtle!

TexasTwinsTwice said...

CONGRATS!!!! That is awesome--loved your post title!

Adrianne said...

Great announcement, great comment generater! I am very very happy for you but not feeling so encouraged to try and make our kids be too close in age...even though that was kind of my dream.

Adrianne said...

and p.s. the old fashioned test involved frogs and pee - Mario's mom tested that way!!

Anisa said...

Honestly, I don't know how you're doing it. But, we all saw it coming, right!!! Congrats!

Penny said...

I'm glad the Easter bunny dropped THAT egg off at the right house! That was such a cute post. And Congrats, we are so happy for you! Hope you are feeling better soon!

Jenibelle said...

Had to add my congrats! 5 isn't bad at all! You sound very organized, this will be a tough year, but think of all the blogging possibilities!!

Paige said...

Now I think I should get pregnant for the comments. That is a whole new level of blog-dedication. There's nothing better than a blog baby!

I'm thinking of you and your nausea everyday. So sorry you feel rotten. Even if it's "short" and "not that bad" it's bad and I feel for you.

Kristy said...

Congratulations! I'm still cracking up at your friend Laurie's comment. If that egg had been found at my house, we'd be having rabbit stew! LOL

There was a blood test (pregnancy) involving rabbits years ago.

Amber said...

I saw this and shot the Easter Bunny at first glance...should he get any ideas around this house.

CONGRATULATIONS ROMNEYS!!! You make BEAUTIFUL babies, no sense quitting now!

Lindsay said...

Congratulations! I'm going to have to live vicariously through you so share every detail...once you get past the nausea that is!
