So I'm in Utah on vacation, sick as can be with my morning sickness and feeling very sorry for myself. I took a minute (the only good thing about morning sickness) to check blogs and found this post, from Jessica (of doorbell-ditching, DDRing, Primary Presidency fame). If you are either
1) dealing with infertility
2) irritated with the not-so-fun parts of pregnancy or
3) have any inkling of ANY baby that needs the best parents I know
Go here.
Happy Holidays!

What a strong friend you have! I hope everything goes well with the adoption process. She made me very grateful for my children!
Thanks for linking! Loved that post...I know how feels.
I used to really get annoyed by my friends who whined about pregnancy, til I was pregnant and realized they weren't just wimps who needed a lot of attention!
Let's face it...there's no easy way to become a parent.
Thanks for sending me there. I tried for over a year to get preggers with Gabe, and am continually amazed that my next three happened ASAWT (as soon as we tried?).
Thanks to my experience with Gabe, I love being pregnant, even with the acid reflux. I don't throw up in the beginning, but 12 weeks of colic makes up for that!
Hang in there and remember, being pregnant is a little easier than chasing 5 kiddos! :)
WOW! Thanks for linking me!
How blessed am I to have you,the famous Jessica, as a friend. I so appreciate the words of comfort and support.
Try to have some fun on your break or at least get some rest while the meals and the kids are taken care of...
I loved what Gabi said...there really is no easy way to become a parent...
Thank you so much for this link and the perspective.
I am so sorry that you are feeling so lousy. I just want you to know you are in my thoughts. I hope it eases up soon.
Wow. Thanks for linking. I loved her post. If only I could have had that optimism when I was going through secondary infertility.
If you are in Utah on vacay, you better go visit my sisters and start the pre-Blogapalooza party planning.
Thanks for sharing Jess' post. Now, head on over to Tai Pan!!! You will feel MUCH better. That'll clear up ANYONE'S blues!
Thanks for linking Jess...no words can sum it all up for me. It's nice to hear the same perspective from someone else and to hear that they are DONE with all of this paperwork. :)
loved the link - sorry you are sick. Not having your health is horrible. Just think - the next phase you'll get to eat and eat and eat. Lost any weight? And - I think you're having twins. Let me know if I'm right.
Yup, I needed to read that today.
Being fat and miserable is a good thing, right?
I hope you are feeling better. LOVED Jessica's post... she is incredible.
What a great post. I should post something - help get their names out there.
What a cute friend! It's hard to watch someone you love deal with infertility. I was buoyed up by her post, since my skin is feeling very stretched these days! She made me feel more grateful & less grouchy :)
Okay, I'm going to go read the post in a sec, but YOU'RE IN UTAH?!!!!!!!!!
You need to come and visit. How far away are you?
e-mail me...

I've done the infertility thing and I've done the pregnancy thing and I would take the pregnancy over the infertility and day... even if the pregnancy brings me another boy!
So that's why you're not calling me back...good thing we have blogs to keep up on each other! Have a great and call me when you get back.
jessica i want your cherry pie recipe. (I saw your offer to adrianne). My email is smartfamily@frontiernet.net. no hurry just send it in all your spare time. misty
Wow, Jess. Thank you so much for that link. Everything she said hit home. I feel her pain so close to my heart and I hope she knows she's not the only out there watching from the sidelines. I just hope in heaven that I can pop 'em out like poppin' fresh doughboy! I guess that's why I'm in YW & can say I have 2 boys & 10 girls. :) I love instant friends :)
Thanks so mcuH!! ANe
Wasn't her post awesome? I hope that you are feeling better soon. And have fun in Utah. Oh, by the way, your UPS man delivered an envelope to your door today. I knew you were out of town so I grabbed it so that it wouldn't just sit on your porch. Let me know when you get home and I will run it over...
See you soon!
My birthing days are over, and truthfully, that makes me sad. I love the link, I am printing the whole thing out to put in my files about 'things I may need to say to my daughter someday...."
Commented on Jessica's post.
It was sooo well said. And so true.
And I had so much fun with you yesterday. You're amazing just like I thought you would be.
Post forthcoming later today!!
That was an awesome link. My brother-in-law and his wife are struggling with this, & her post was so eloquent & honest. It really helped me to understand even more! (I knew it was hard, & I hurt for them, but this just explained things even better.)
Hope you feel better soon & really get to enjoy your pregnancy. I wonder like your friend, Erika, if your not having twins too, especially since you've been so sick from the get-go. Maybe double the hormones??
Hi Jessica,
I hope you don't mind if I read your blog. Google Reader actually recommended you to me! But I'm friends with MomBabe, and saw that she comments, so it MUST be a great blog!! :)
Can you email me at melindahaaga@yahoo.com - I have a blurb question for you.
thank you for the link... awesome, just the right reminder.
I'm so glad you didn't forget to mention the best part of your trip - meeting ME! Cuz that would have been terrible.
I'm still dying that I got to meet you. I'm so lucky!
