This is what I think are…

The 3 worst things about parenting:

1.  Sibling fights

2.  Potty-training

3.  When your 18 month old poops EVERY FREAKING TIME she gets in the tub, with her brother, necessitating a quick shower of both in a new poop-free area, the sanitizing of every single one of the gross bathtub toys and a detailed scrub of the disgusting leftover mess.  All during the BUSIEST time of the day.

Yuck.

Oh, ain't that the truth!? Yes, I still deal with poop in the tub. 12 years old. And WHY oh WHY do my girls need to have their biggest fights when I'm on the phone!? Oh, hormones. They'll be the death of me. Or them.

Yeah, K is big into pooping in the tube now too. Drives me completely bonkers.

I agree with you! And I'm sorry about the poop in the tub thing. I haven't had to deal with that too much luckily. So not fun!

IF she's that predictable put her on the potty first... She is just relaxing n that's a natural state of warm water response!?! SORRY for the added entertainment? Maybe IF u shower her she won't relax so much??
Sibling fights are meant to entertain u... Let them referree their OWN fights, then say 5 positive things to each other before moning on... n the NEED for attenion MAY lessen?

Poop in the tub is the WORST. It never happened with my first (unless she was legitimately sick), but my second, a little boy, terds in the tub more regularly than I would like. More often than that is that I have to bathe him just from pooping in his diaper because it's so nasty and despite my best wiping attempts, if I don't bathe him, he still smells for the rest of the day.

Where did you get/what brand is that baby bathtub? That frog pad looks so comfy!

Um, #3 is the worst. I can break up a fight way easier than getting poop out of the bathtub. Yuck!

Proving that I have the ability to completely back out the truly horrible things in my life from my memory... I don't think my kids ever did that... poop everywhere else but not in the bath. What is with the sibling fights? Its not fun for anyone.

I second your chinese friend up there.

Seriously - do those people not check to make sure we can read their spam before sending it? Idiots.

Poop in the tub is so gross. I feel for you, my friend.

It serves me right for eating my dinner at the computer, reading your comments...all this "poop" talk. I am so happy that we don't have to deal with that issue anymore.;)

Thanks for inspiring me to blog again...I have done 4 POSTS in like 10 days! Some are just old and I put the dates so that they would be put in order. Thanks for inspiring me again. The visual of the family history over the years did it! Bravo!

P.S. Live Writer ROCKS!!

Oh, the sibling fights. Can you believe I deluted myself into thinking my two children wouldn't ever fight because they are 5 years apart? HA!!!

I'm happy that potty training is over with Faith. It seems like when it's all said and done, you say to yourself, "that wasn't so bad. It was sooo worth it".

Both my kids pooped in the tub, but Faith was THE. WORST. Pushing those little corn chunks down the drain is enough to make anyone barf and hate that part of parenting. And WHY does it never happen to the Dads?

We have the same problem. One time, I even waited until after he had a poopy diaper and he still pooped again in the tub!!!

I just worry about the poop n polio... u know? Been thinking 'bout that.

Isla's a chronic tub pooper too. And we only have one bathroom with one tub/shower. I'm at a loss for what to do other that whisk her out at the very first sign of bubbles in the tub.

Seriously--WHY do all disasters have to happen during the hour of 5-6pm???
