What is that tooth fairy’s problem, anyway?

Oh, that poor fairy. I think we have the same one you do...what IS her problem? My kids ended up hoping she would forget a few times because the $ tended to increase every day.

Good luck to all :)

Sometimes when our tooth fairy is 'too busy' to come on a given night, she makes a surprise visit during the day while the kids are at school and mom is 'in the shower' or pre-occupied in some way.

Looks like the tooth fairy needs to write Emma back and inform her that she, th tooth fairy, didn't forsee Emma's tooth falling out and therefore did not include the reward money in this month's cahs budget. Emma will have wait until next month.

As a child of Ryan, she will totally get that reasoning.

Ouch, Mom...

That darn fairy. Did she get hooked up with the wrong leprechaun?

I don't know, but when you figure it out send him/her to my house. I have a kid waiting patiently, too.

When I read that first note I thought it was someone's sick way of announcing their 11th child! Leave money here!

Do you have any idea how many kids lose a tooth on any given day?? It must be hundreds! How in the world can you expect the TF to get there the same day?? I say that Emma needs to cut the TF some slack. Give her a day, or two, or three, to get caught up!

HA! I'm so glad to read this post today!!! Max declared 3 days ago that the Tooth Fairy hates him because he's lost 2 teeth and she forgot about them.

Completely forgot.

He lost them 6 mos ago. Oopsie.

Maybe she needs the money to pay back the camera. Doesn't that end this month??

Funny. Our girls no longer expect money the first day. They are excited if she makes it by night three. She's a busy little fairy you know.

Oh, yes. The tooth fairy that always forgets. She is on our route too. Good luck with that.

The tooth fairy we know only works on the weekend. Or so I told my son when he lost his second tooth on a Wednesday and for some reason that darn tooth fairy didn't show up until Friday night!

Our tooth fairy is not very good either. :)

Wow, my son can TOTALLY relate to this! After about 3 nights straight of the silly tooth fairy forgetting, (and he was TRYING SOOOOOO hard to amuse me being the BELIEVER that he is), I just had him go to my wallet and empty out its contents. Which of course for me, wasn't very much since I NEVER EVER carry cash. I think he scored a whopping dollar and change.

so cute. I hope you felt like you failed as a parent not reminding the tooth fairy and all. this is serious business. (ps: the same thing happened at our house- woops)

FOTFL! I can't think of anything to say because I'm laughing so hard. I have SO done this. Jason is the tooth fairy around our house because my brain checks out at 8:30pm. I always forget.

We have that same stinkin tooth fairy!

Our tooth fairy is just making deposits into the dental/orthodontal fund these days.

The tooth fairy was SO diligent with my oldest-even left a trail of fairy dust when she came to pick up her treasures...now she's a total slacker.

Seriously, who created the tooth fairy anyway!

Our tooth fairy has issues too. I wonder if it's the economy or laziness on her part.

I have started setting the kitchen timer for an hour after the kids are in bed so it will remind said tooth fairy that she has a job to do tonight.

I've often wondered WHY the tooth fairy is a HER??!
Don't two adults sleep in that house?? HA,HA, maybe the "her" pays more 'cuz "she" helps pull IT out!!
I think it is a pain ratio... Sometimes the night activities are over-rated, what about a tooth fairy who delivers to backpacks?!?! Aloha

Whatever that tooth fairy's problem is, it happens at my house too. Especially when your kid loses 12 teeth in a matter of months. The tooth fairy just gets a little tired and sick of it all after a while, ya know?!

That just broke my heart! But, also made me laugh, we have the same tooth fairy here in California!

Maybe there is an App that the Tooth Fairy could use to help her remember pick up and delivery times? I hope not, though...because I LOVE Emma's polite and pleading notes.

Not only does the Tooth Fairy in Georgia forget pick up and delivery times...but has been caught red handed delivering that lousy buck. My kids are light sleepers.
