Quick Quote #19

The kids and I were discussing my college years and Jane asked me if I'd had a bike a college. I said, "No" and Gabe said: "Yeah, Jane, bikes weren't even invented yet."

And he was serious.

Come on. Everybody knows the wheel wasn't even invented until the early 80's. Right before leg warmers and fluorescent scrunchies.

I had to copy yours (and several other fellow bloggers) idea of the quote on the side. I love reading other people's kids' quirky comments.

As Denae would say LOL! That is great. You are so ancient.

As mentioned before...there were no bikes when dinosaurs roamed the earth...when I was young.

Jane just keeps the great quotes comin'. :)

Yea Gabe, your mother is ancient. By the time I was in college bikes had ten speeds.

Oh boy. Levi's going to grow up laughing at people who couldn't pause their live TV. Serious. Kids have it sooo good these days with all the gadgets, etc.

My kids think I rode a dinosaur to school. Isn't it funny? I thought the same thing about my parents.

My kids can't believe that they didn't have the internet when I was a kid. They have no idea that the internet is like five years old.

Funny, I remember as a kid putting away the silverware and thinking that back when my mom grew up in pioneer times, they only had wooden spoons.

It is weird to transition to the old mommy role. Especially since we are obviously so cool and hip.

I'm sorry.
You're kids are only as intelligent and talkative as you've made them.
