something's wrong if she hasn't learned to fear you when you're in the mean way. maybe you should carry the wooden spoon, so they'll know the mean way really translates to "stay faaaarrr away from mommy if you know what's good for you."
There's still HOPE for you... My dad was known as the MEAN one!!! by some of our kid friends. He's STILL the best dad I've ever had and he never seems TOO bothered by the "title." Stick to your mean ways and kids have a way of turning out REALLY well?!?! Go figure. Anyways, you seem TOO fun to stay "that MEAN way" for long! Signing OFF for a week, on a cruise!
Seth lost his shoes and had to wear Faith's too-small pair to a soccer game. He was pretty miserable. After the game, Ryan asked what he'd learned from it. Seth replied: "To have a happy attitude when things are hard?"

sometimes that is just the mommy's job!
what a cutie your Jane is.
I love Jane!
I love the new quote on the side, too.
We didn't need bicycles back then...you know...when dinosaurs roamed the earth...
That is so funny. I hate it when my kids see my faults. I thought I had until they were teenagers before that happened.
Perhaps you should teach Jane the word "demonic", then she will sound so smart when she insults you!

I love the things your kids say, they are so funny. Is Jane your oldest? She sounds so funny and mature for her age.
I
LOVE
THAT!!!
Doesn't such remarks mean that you are being a good mom?
Abbie tells me I'm being the beast.
Just rude.
That's funny. Don't you love when your kids remind you how you are being.
She has your cycle figured out already?
File that away to use on her in a few years.
I love Jane!!! So funny!!!
Can she guest blog? I think she probably has a lot to say.
Yeah, Jane...I'm the mean way all of the time.

Levi thinks I'm mean too. He tells me how beautiful he thinks I am when I'm nice. I wonder if he thinks I'm ugly when I'm mean.
