Habla Espanol?

From Seth, between 12:10 and 12:45 pm:
"Mom, I can count in Spanish (says, in English, one, two, three, etc.)"
"Wook, Faith, I can skip in Spanish"

"Mom, I can play in Spanish. See me?"

"Mom, I can sit on the Not Listening chair in Spanish!"

Maybe that's the problem...

We're not speaking the same language.

He should learn how to speak Canadian. It's much easier to understand.

que bien! that is hilarious. way to raise a multi-cultural child. ask him to do it all in mandarin and see what you get.

I'm cracking up!! My Jake is obsessed with counting in Spanish, he even seeks out probable Spanish speakers and starts counting to them.

Clever post. Spanish is hot at Seth's age too, huh?

Aidan's favorite Spanish word - telescopio - thanks Handy Manny!

OK, I see a FULLY decorated Christmas tree in his background... YOU are way over doing this season in spite of your tired-ness, or did the RS pres. really deliver Christmas yesterday???
And that little picture of your 5 was top notch w/ hair bows and slicked back hair on boys that are neat and trim... Type A personality or just attempting to impress us viewers on the blog!!! ?
Girl, you are amazing! Don't worry too much about the spanish, he has til he's 19 to get it straightened out!!! Aloha w/ lots of rain over here today!!

Great punch line.

Glad you found the root of the problem. Love and Logic has nothing on you.

That is pretty impressive! They say it is easier for a child to learn a foriegn language than an adult. I guess between 12:10pm and 12:45pm is prime learning time. He didn't want you to feel badly so he translated everything for you. He is so nice. ☺

Please send him to play with Gabe, they can be not-really-bilingual together.

Seriously so funny! That kid is always full of funny sayings! It truly amazes me and leaves me in tears! I love him!

I think my kids must be speaking spanish too!

I've just been enlightened....your boy speaks Spanish like my 15 year old. Peter must be failing Spanish because he 'sits in the not listening chair in Spanish' (class)! He probably plays in Spanish (class), too!

Hi my friend!
I read last weeks post today. It is comforting to know we all feel like we are sinking some days. Have you heard the song by Faith Hill called A Baby Changes Everything. It is beautiful! Isn't it amazing how He came as a baby to Change our everything. I know each of the babies I have helped bring to this earth have changed me for the better. I am learning and relearning new languages everyday. The one I find most challenging is the language of love. Can't wait to kiss that new bundel of joy! Look into her eyes everyday! xoxoxo me
