The Summary in Pictures

Notice Seth's finger. This is how it looks for 90% of the things he says to us.

Evidence that Seth actually got to attend the "buwday pawdy" that he mentioned 1, 214 times. Word to the wise: Don't mention the party to a 3 year old till one hour before. "Is today da buwday pawdy, mom?" "Dis my buwday present, mom, foh da pawdy?" "Is today tomorrow, foh da pawdy mom?" (ad nauseum)

The teepee in which the kids got initiated into sacred Native American ceremonies for Stake Pioneer Day. They got real Indian tears, fossilized as rocks. As Jane said, "I'm sewious."

A picture of what happens when no one shows up to ward Park Day (at the Liberty Lake County Park): you actually make a sandcastle with your cute kids...instead of talking to your friends the whole time.

We took the kids to Riverfront Park to ride the rides. Quotable quote: Ryan said, "I think something in me has officially snapped. Even looking at these rides makes me sick."

Some random picture that the kids did. I included it due to the Rolaids bottle in the front, as my week was filled with almost constant heartburn. I've been to the doctor today and got a prescription for some harder stuff. (5th pregnancy=not so fun.)

Just looking at the airplane ride makes me sick. That "something" in me snapped a long time ago!

I LOVE Seth!!! I love his little voice, even if it is telling me like 1,500 times that Emma is being mean to him. It still is precious!

And sorry about "park day"... I
totally missed that one. I'll miss this week too...danget!

Oh well, I like the one on one visits better anyway. So go put the kids to bed and go for a walk and just happen to stop by and borrow another DVD,(Aric says we are going to start charging late fees in the form of meals. Our visit the other night was the best visit I've had with you in a long time. Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh, girl! The third did me in. Quite literally. I don't know how you are doing it.

I'm with Ryan. My sil wanted us to go to Lagoon with them and I said I'd rather have my eyes poked out with a sharp stick. And I wasn't kidding.

Really.

Ok, maybe just a bit of an exaggeration. But not much.

I see Pioneers! Love it. I take the same tactic with my 3 year old with swimming lessons, so she doesn't have to cry for hours before. We pull up, I say, "Oh look, swimming lessons!" Then it's over. But darn it if she can swim.

I totally agree with Ryan about the barf rides. That's why mommies don't go to theme parks.

Oh, dear...sorry about the heartburn.

I love the verbatim and phonetically correct Seth and Jane (because she is, sewious) commentary. It always brightens my day.

Brace yourself...I need to e-mail you again, soon. Please, don't have me blocked ;)

Heartburn. Not fun.
Cute little Seth.
I'm glad you got to build the sandcastle with your kids. The little things make you not feel so unconnected with the other kids when you're pregnant.

I, too, have embraced my non-roller coaster riding self. It feels good. Probably not as good as your hardcore heartburn drugs, but still. It's something.

And Amber Valetta? If only, girlfriend. If only. :-)

You are so cheerful and sweet I forget that you're preggo. Hugs sweetie.

This is what a pregnancy blog of mine would read like: whine, whine, whine barf, whine, whine.

I too hate the heartburn. Tell me more about the harder stuff--I'm taking OTC Zantac and a lot of tums. But I only have about 2 1/2 more weeks to worry about it. Weighing my options: heartburn vs. squalling newborn?

Such a funny post!☺

Your kids crack me up. Sorry about the heartburn!

Last time I went on a roller coaster, I cried. At least Ryan didn't cry.

I'm so sorry about the heart burn. MISERY.

I LOVE when Seth uses his finger to talk. He is "so adoable". And so is Jane. She is "sewiously" cute! I love your kids and miss them lots and lots!

Feel better! I can't wait for that new baby girl to arrive.

I too can no longer ride amusement rides - with the exception of roller coasters.

Tell Seth I like to talk with my finger too.

Sorry about your heartburn. Never had it with my pregnancies. I just gain enormous amounts of weight.

Jackson just said to me, "Mom, do you know Jane is our cousin?"

I wish!

Chewable Rolaids are my favorite.

Is it not hot where you live? I don't want to leave my house and go to a park anywhere or outdoor amusement parks or anything. Way to go, Jessica!
