Why I love nursing in the middle of the night:

Before:

After:
(with the late afternoon sun, which is my favorite time in that room. It glows.)

( The frames in the corner of the room will eventually have silohuettes of her head, hands and feet in them, but we all know how much I like to make non-food items, so don't hold your breath.
Thanks to Pottery Barn for the inspiration/exact room idea, Christine for design ideas and drawing of sheep, Jessica A. for the curtains.)

That nursery is FANTASTIC!!

Oh, I want to get rid of my nasty futon RIGHT now so I can have a lovely chair like yours.

That little baby is one lucky girl to have a room all to herself and looking so stylish!

Seriously the cutest nursery I've seen. I'd never want to leave.

The F is way cool and those walls look so warm and it's so cold here so that's nice.
The black and yellow really looks fantastic!

What a wonderful room. My Maddy chose the exact same bedding and curtains for her room re-do! Plus yellow walls. Oh, that Pottery Barn.

Christine drew that adorable lamb? I love, love, love it! And Jessica A. did such a fabulous job on the curtians!!!!!!

I am drooling on the keyboard!

I'm glad everything turned out the way you wanted it. You have excellent taste.

I'd even nurse in the middle of the night in that room. If I had a baby and the plumbing still worked.

Gorgeous.

You did a fantastic job.

Wow.

Where'd you get the "F" done? Is it vinyl?

Very, very pretty. Picture it in 10 months with toys all over the floor. Maybe she can play in everyone else's rooms so this room can remain pristine! Really, it is lovely.

Love it. BUt why do you love nursing in the middle of the night? It's too dark to see the cuteness.

That is absolutely beautiful.

I just made silhouettes for my parents for Christmas and they were quite simple and fun. (Quite simple and fun since I am not at the moment nursing a new baby while managing four others!!!!) E-mail me the pictures and you'll have them by the end of the week. I'm SERIOUS. I'd love to do it. (Ryan, MAKE her, okay!)

So, is HGTV your favorite station to watch TOO?
Looks like a make over IF I ever saw one!
Great color for a fall/winter baby!

Kirbell said...

Wow. SO cute.

Christie said...

Wait, you mean you actually get up, sit in a chair, and nurse while being awake in the middle of the night? I was a total bed nurser.

LOVE the room. Almost makes me want another baby, just to have it.

I said ALMOST.

I would make my baby nurse all day long so that I wouldn't have to leave that room. So cute!
How did you do the F? is it painted?

Beautiful. I love it, you did a fantastic job. I want to come sit in that chair in the late afternoon sun. Not so much in the middle of the night, but it's so cute I could probably be convinced.
