I agree. One year I gave my two year old son a giant mylar balloon for Christmas. That's it. And he LOVED it. It lasted like 6 months. Now we try to give our kids 'experiences' and less stuff. Horse back riding, rock climbing, art class, tickets to a play, lunch out with dad etc. Or feathers.
Seth lost his shoes and had to wear Faith's too-small pair to a soccer game. He was pretty miserable. After the game, Ryan asked what he'd learned from it. Seth replied: "To have a happy attitude when things are hard?"

Um seriously.. 42 minutes? My son would last .05 seconds! HA
I am off to go pluck an unsuspecting chicken. This will help with the Christmas Present Budget immensely.
I love Seth.
By the way...do you think I should dye the chicken blue before plucking the feathers...or dye the feathers after I pluck them?
adn this is why he's my fave. seriously. i ADORE him!
Totally agree... sometimes its the simplest things!
amazing.. you could get him a whole bag for Christmas! ps: you look very Hollywood in the picture of you on the bus with your kids.
Way to teach your kids that it's the simple things in life that matter.
