to
the Broken Arm Club!
Welcome, Seth!
(We were playing at a park downtown and Emma was helping Seth on the monkey bars. He slipped and she came running, crying, “It looks really weird! Seth’s arm is really bad!” I got him, rushed him to the Emergency Room at the hospital that was 3 minutes away and my mom, who was here, luckily, took all the kids home. Seth had surgery later that evening to pin his arm (the humerus detached from the elbow). He stayed overnight, everything went well and was released the next day. He’s starting to get the hang of moving around with the cast. The doctors said it would be on for 3-4 weeks. We’re grateful that we have insurance, money to pay for medical things, modern medicine and a Grandma that could take care of kids for two days!)

Wow! Poor little guy! That is a club I'm not interested in joining though ;)
WOW! I'd rather not join that club. We have a club in our family and everyone is a part of. It's the never broken an arm club.
Also, the kids have a 'we hate Dora club', but that's another story...

hate double comments.
weird.
That doesn't look like much fun. Love you, little Seth. We're wishig you a quick recovery!
xoxoxoxo
So sorry for Seth. Honestly though Jessica it looks like you got the hang of it! Did they all have to have surgery? I only have 2 members of that club...Brie and Bryson. Both broke their left arms but only Brie had surgery (no pins). Hope Seth recovers quickly. It is amazing to see how well they get used to throwing that cast around. Not too long I'm sure before it is used as a weapon. At least that is what happened in our house. Hopefully he is the last to join....right?
I hope he has a speedy and not too painful recovery :-)
Oh no.. poor lil' guy :( Hope he's recovering well!! Thank goodness your mom was there to help with the kiddos :)
NOT MY SETH! that poor baby! he's too cute to have to suffer at all. this is just wrong.
Oh, that is such a nightmare of mine. We are just waiting for it to happen. Glad he is okay!
Not the "funnest kid ever"??? Poor little guy.
Oh, poor seth! That doesn't look like fun but maybe he will work all of the extra attention. Hope he heals fast.
I am so happy that I am not a member of that club! I am so sad for that little guy, he looks pretty tough with that cast though.
ahh! that stinks. that is not a fun summer. at least it is not during school... ?
also - faith looks SO much like gabe!
AAAAACK!! I leave town for a couple of weeks and this is what happens?! I promise I took my eyes off of him for only a second!!
Poor little man. He is so cute...even while hospitalized.
I am with you. There have been so many times this year that I have said to myself or Mike, "I am so grateful we have insurance." or "This is so expensive, but can you imagine how bad it would be if we didn't have insurance?" I appreciate the way you are mindful of your blessings.
Well you can't say your kids are boring and sit inside watching TV all the time....for all of those broken arms, comes adventures, wild play time and well, some accidents. Its character building!
Oooh, I feel his pain. I had six surgeries on my arm when I was a kid. It was HORRIBLE. Poor baby!
Nice, nice. I am a proud two and half time member of that club.
The sweet one-piece-sunsuit club is also one of which I am a member. That picture of you could have esaily been a picture of me.
And, what do you think of Ogden in May??
That stinks Seth! Hope your arm is better quick!
