(Emails, from the iphone, of course, sent to Ryan after he decided he couldn’t get off of work at 10:30 am last Friday when we went strawberry picking at our local mountain.)

(We have since made: strawberry jam, strawberry syrup, chocolate dipped strawberries, strawberry banana whole wheat muffins, strawberry pie and strawberry rhubarb crisp. That should hold us over till next year. And keep us really regular.)

Those were so great, I thought maybe the last picture would show Ryan up there with you! We're going to try to go this week sometime...I may be emailing you for recipes.
You're my hero...berry picking alone with 5 kids? Wowzah!
Bet he's TOTALLY wishing he could have gone. Especially after seeing the fighting chair and the crying babe. Heck, wish we ALL were there. :-)
Yum!
fun pictures and clever blog idea
Seriously you are the best mom. I wish you lived nearby so that I would feel the push to do those things, like make strawberry jam. Thanks for the inspiration.
And we do the email pictures back and forth also and it helps the hubby feel like he is part of our day when clearly he is busy at work. But in a weird way it does kind of connect us through the day.
It was like I was there too.
The only strawberry picking I brave with my kids is with the 12 little plants in our garden.
Love strawberries, but it wouldn't be worth the effort since I only have one kid who'll eat 'em.
Mine might go for the train ride; they're always up for a fight.
Looks and sounds so yummy! I wish I could have some of your delicious strawberry meals.
My brother Jerry has a camera now on his phone too and our relationship has grown MUCH deeper w/ the pics he sends me of their adventures... That is on my WISH list for these next few months... I have a $29 phone from Walmart w/ NO camera and NO earbud to talk on while driving--DARK AGE if you ask me!!
I love this post and I'm going to copy you real soon.
This was so clever. I love the title, too.
I especially enjoyed the documentation of Seth's lousy contribution.
That is such a great picture of you with your beautiful, smiling Faith. Was she smiling or crying? I thought she was smiling...
My favorite was the parting shot about everyone keeping regular.
Yum Yum! and Sorry he couldn't make it. I'm really impressed with your techie skills!
Fun! We have a raspberry picking farm near us...our fave!
And, ahem, I sent you an email about the UT trip????
yum yum yum! I miss good ol' Green Bluff. Oh the industry in LL! I'm having to send around a sign up in the RS binder to see if anyone wants to can peaches with me. Sad, huh?
Yummy Green Bluff. I'm going with my sister next week. We love it, plus the kids get free strawberries for snacks while picking :)
