that,
plus the fact that we had 40 family members, 15ish friends, a last minute healing of the sick baptism boy, a sweet solo-singing sister (Elder Maxwell would love that illiteration), neat talks, and the Spirit that we'd prayed and fasted for all week.
Our Heavenly Father loves us and smiles down on us as we keep His commandments and follow His Son in making and keeping the sacred covenants of baptism and confirmation.
We are proud of Gabe.

Yup! That was way cool.
What a beautiful moment for you and your family and Gabe! Great choice, man!
So cool! What a great memory to have!
How did you know I needed to read that today?
I really DID.
What an awesome baptism!
I wish i could have been there. That is so great. So beautiful and memorable.
Congrats on another perfect child!
Two down, three to go!
That was really neat! Did he freeze? I remember thinking it wasn't that warm that day. I wish we could of been there... I had to take Trevor to High School to get his locker and classes, etc. Sorry we missed it, it sounds like it was very special!
Definately cool and he will always remember that!!! When is the baby coming. I need to know. I am getting excited for you to hold and love your newest creation.
i've always felt that getting baptized outside of the church font would be cool! especially in open water! what a great memory to an already memorable day!
What a blessed day.
Thank you for your simple, yet beautiful and poignant testimony.
It was so COOL! Thanks for letting us share your special day.
Those pictures are so touching! What a great day to always remember!
What a wonderful day.
Congratulations Gabe! So sorry you were sick, so happy you are a member of the church!
That is awesome. I think you need to tell the story behind it. Why not in a church?
Once again, I am reminded of the fact that you are the coolest person I have ever met. LOVE this.
Wish I could have been there! Love you Gabe!
Amazing.
I love the pictures...especially the one of them entering the water.
Congratulations, to Gabe and your whole family.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony, Jessica.
What a memorable day for Gabe and the rest of you.
Welcome into the church Gabe!
It is so important to make baptisms a special, memorable event while still keeping it a reverent covenant. I love how you were able to highlight this important day without turning it into a secular event/party.
Congratulations Gabe. THis will be a day you always remember.
How awesome. What a great day!! Yay for Gabe and making the right decision :)
That is so cool! What a great memory for Gabe. Those pictures are so full of emotion and feeling too. Love it.
SO, that was a really special #8 year w/ that big trip to grma/grpa's in CA and bday party to end ALL parties, and then a baptism in a lake? WOW! He COULD be a pioneer child!! w/ a story of his OWN!
Aloha
Um, I'm going to need some backstory. How come he got baptized in that open body of water? Those pictures are so cool.
How are you feeling? I'm dying to know. Post a picture of the belly, please.
Yay, Gabe! That's awesome you got baptized in a lake?
Absolutely beautiful!
Hooray for Gabe! What a memory.
Good job Jessica (and Ryan).
SO very awesome!
He will never forget that day! Sweet.
I can't believe that he is 8 years old. I remember teaching Emma when she was 5. Your kids are beautiful. What a neat and special day.
So sad I couldn't be there. Sounds like it was a great experience for all involved.
How wonderful for Gabe - what a lovely experience all around. Growing up in Hawaii meant that we got baptized in the ocean and not the font - in fact, most chapels in Hawaii are built without them - I will always treasure that memory.
Wow! That is a neat and cold baptism! So cool! Glad it was such a good experience for him and the family!
